About Map Mix
In a nutshell, Map Mix takes people that are online and looking for someone to talk to, and gives them a visual search tool. You can talk to people down the street from you, or find someone across the country to find out what is going on out there.

How it Works
You register and then login. This lets the system display your location on the map which other users are viewing. In your profile, there are various instant messenger clients, webpages, blogs, etc. which allow the users that are online to get into contact with you or find out a little more about you. You can also turn on email contact, or 'anonimize' email contact, which will forward email to your address without publicly making your address available.
Remember, the way this works, is to let others know you are online, and then form the contact. Who knows, it may be that cute person on the other side of the shop from you?!
